Hairy Wall

After taking a break, I’m finally back to quilting  “York Wall.”

I’m quilting twice around each of the stones.  I like the effect.  But, I can see that they’re definitely going to need haircuts!

P.S.  Did you know that my blog is searchable?  See the search box at right, above my picture.  You can search for flower, color, design, whatever.  Give it a try.

Ellen, I guess that’s the price to pay when you do raw edge applique without fusible. I tend to zigzag the raw edges with invisible thread before quilting and that helps, but does not completely eliminate the problem. I know that you like to quilt and sew the pieces down at the same time. Well there are worse things in life than needing a haircut!

Right, Chris. I’m no new-comer to “quilt hair dresser.” I’ll get out my sharp little embroidery scissors and tackle the whole thing when I finish the quilting.
