Chocolate in Paris!
We stumbled upon a really DECADENT and well-stocked chocolate store near our hotel, (but I don’t remember the name.) Oh my, the aroma!
Many of the candies were absolutely gorgeous. Just look at the gloss on these caramel orbs, below.
And just look at these fruit candies. I’m guessing they weren’t made from chocolate but my French wasn’t good enough to ask. They were so beautiful!
Of course, we bought a few items as gifts and a few more as treats for ourselves. Jo-Ann had the ultimate self-control and saved hers for the plane the next day! (WHAT was she thinking?) I quickly ate mine on the sidewalk as soon as we left the store. Delicious!!!
It’s always so fun to stumble upon places like this when traveling. I like to keep my agenda fluid enough to have some exploration opportunities.
