My Christmas cactus bloomed beautifully and I wanted to depict the bright, cascading blossoms. As I looked for a way to do this abstractly I realized I could represent the blossoms with a repeating sharp shape.
Cotton fabric and thread. Raw edge collage and machine quilting.
