Working on this quilt inspired by fall foliage, I added many more little orange bits.
Hmm, maybe I got carried away there. I removed a few and it looked better.
And here it is finished, called Mid-October.
I liked it. But something was bothering me.

Have you tried adding a couple of very small orange bits to the ‘bare’ areas.? I find the concentration of activity in the large arc a little too, well, concentrated. Just a thought.
I think that would also look good, Mary Jane, but I’m happy with this arrangement. THANKS for the comment and the suggestion!

I’m happy with my use of the fabric. I didn’t want it to look like Pat’s quilts (as much as I admire them,) and I think I succeeded on that account.
