In Recognition
The close of the Studio to Gallery conference was a good opportunity for a “changing of the guard.” Retiring Florida SAQA co-reps Jayne Gaskins and Nancy Billings were stepping down and Kathryn Robinson and I were taking over. Since Jayne and Nancy had worked tirelessly on the conference we wanted to give them a really special send off.
So, after some brief comments, that’s what we did!

I joked with someone that the bouquets were about the size of 2-year-olds, but that was actually fairly accurate! Perfect! They were completely surprised and very appreciative. Plus, there were some nice goodies in those gift boxes.
Our evening ended up with photos taken of the 4 reps, outgoing and incoming. We all felt like celebrities.

All Florida SAQA members are SO fortunate to have had these two women as our representatives. They’ve left Kathryn and me some VERY large shoes to fill!
