Fabric in the Mail

I’m a lucky girl.  I got this in the mail today:  fabric scraps from Judith Content.

Judith is a very talented fabric artist who dyes all her own fabric.  She sent me scraps as a thank you for recruiting SAQA members.  How nice!

Can you tell they’re all luscious silks?

Some of the pieces are fairly large.  I sure am going to have fun figuring out how to use these treasures!

Thanks, Judith!

Cool fabric. Lucky lady to get scraps like that. I love hand dyes and do a lot of that in the summer months. To cold here in the winter to be working out on the patio. In winter, I use airbrush paint to color fabric when I need a certain color. Joan

What a treat. Just started working with silks, they really put a punch in a quilt. Lucky Lady

You’re right, Nanette. These fabrics have a wonderful luster. They will be the stars no matter how/where I use them.

You’re right, Diane! I’m going to pin them up to my design wall and let them “percolate” a while.

Wow–yes, you are a lucky girl! I thought I was lucky to receive Mistyfuse, but it looks pretty boring now. LOL. Enjoy!

  10. Martha, you’re funny. Like you, I got Misty Fuse last time. I was quite happy with that, but I have to say these scraps are better!
